Lake Hood Chapter Two

runway1.jpg (13168 bytes) Another shot of the "runway". There is a small lake behind this view which is for extended take-off runs.
roadsign.jpg (16265 bytes) A road surrounds the lake to allow access to the aircraft. There is a small gravel runway here also. This allows the pilots to convert to wheels or skis as the season dictates.
